This inventory and Appraisement of the Estate of Marquis D Richardson deceased, was produced in Court, examined, approved, and Ordered to be recorded, and the same is thereupon truly Recorded in my office.
                Att. J C Rodes clk.
Biography*  Name shown as Marcus Calmes Richardson. Its possible "C" was misunderstood as "D" at some point. Sallie Scott Richardson's DAR papers say Marquis D. while the "Richardson Historical" newspaper calls him Marcus Calmes Richardson. Probably the latter is correct. Vol 50 p 141 (1952) Kentucky Historical Society Bulletin includes Marquis D. Richardson in marriage and deaths published in Frankfort, KY newspaper "The Commentator."
