Probate*7 May 1860 His estate was probated on 7 May 1860 at Pulaski County, GA.
Note*  Lived next to father with wife Antionette.
(There is something wrong here as and Archibald H. Odum is shown in Court Minutes in 1821 as being dead. Page 106 reads: " Ordered that the Negros belonging to estate of Archibald H. Odum remain in same situation they have been since the death of said Arch. H. Odum. Monday March 5, 1821.)
This same record clealy show that there were two Archibald Odums. Another record shows on page 29 that in Jan 1816 Archibald Odum died intestate. Later letters of administration were granted to Archibald Odum on estate of Archibald H. Odum. I believe threrefore that there is a mistake here among the Archibalds.

Odom of the county of Pulaski and State of Georgia feeling myself sound in mind (no mention of body) desire to make and proclaim this my last will and Testament in the disposition of the worldly goods with which a kindly providence has blessed me by the following items:
1st I give to my wife Sarah A. Odom two beds and bedsteads, one table and one trunk and eleven hundred and thirteen dollars in cash, this amount being given in lieu of dower. She shall be put to her election to accept the sum of money above specified and relinquish dower or to accept the dower and relinquish the sum of money above specified.
2nd I desire all my debts to be paid from the remainder of my estate from the sale or proceeds of such property as my executor may think best.
3rd I give my mother, Elizabeth Odom my blind horse and buggy and allow her the privilege of using as much of my lands as she pleases for farming purposed during her lifetime and then to belong to my children in the manner hereinafter specified.
#4 I give to my three sons all the rest and residue of my property in trust and if any one or two of them should die leaving no child or children the off-spring of his or their body, then his or their portion should vest and belong equally to the survivors if more than one. and entire if only one survivor and in the event of all my sons dying leaving no child or children the off spring of their body then my property shall be vested in and belong equally to my brothers and sisters and I desire that all my property be kept together upon my plantation until my children respectively become of the age of twenty one years or marry in which event of marrying or becoming twenty one old they may take of his or their portion, And when my son James becomes twenty one years old I desire that he shall act as trustee for his remaining brothers or brothers (in this?) exercising a choice to remain upon my premises and keep the property of the surviving brother or brothers or to sell my lands and take the property in remainder elsewhere whensoever he may think best for all the parties.
5th I hereby nominate ordain and appoint John Watters my executor of this my last will and testament.

 He was the son of Archibald Odom Sr. and Penelope Harris.2 
MARRIAGE*circa 1807 He married Mary Polly Clinch, daughter of Col. Joseph Clinch, circa 1807. 
Death*1815  In 1815 Letters of Administration of Pulaski County pp 29-30 state: To Archibald Odom and (blank) Greeting Whereas Archibald H. Odom late of the County died intestate... witnessed Jan 1 1816. 
Probate*18 January 1816  On 18 January 1816 "The Georgia Journal" advertised the estate sale on Dec 12, 1815. It took place one month later. According to the Pulaski History he was a private in a Detachment of Georgia Calvary Mounted Riflemen stationed at Fort Mitchell and on an Indian Scout from the 9th of November to the 22nd of December 1814. Its possible he was killed in the line of duty.3 
Note*1812  In 1812 There is mention of an Archibald H. Odom in the war of 1812. Do not know if this is the same one. There is also on March 5, 1821 a Court Order that the negros belonging to the estate of Arch H. Odom remain in same situation they have been since the death of said Odom. 
SLAVE OWNE*1818  In 1818 His estate is listed as paying $2.00 tax on seven slaves.3
